Phoronix Certification & Qualification Suite

The Phoronix Certification & Qualification Suite (PCQS) is a reference specification for the Phoronix Test Suite designed to stress the various areas of desktop computers and workstations. The first specification of PCQS has yet to be ratified but will be in the 2009 calendar year. While currently a work in progress, some of the Phoronix Certification & Qualification Suites can currently be found with the Phoronix Test Suite as signified by the pcqs- prefix on some select test suites.

The PCQS tests are currently used by Phoronix.com in Linux hardware testing and is also used by other reviewers. Ultimately, the Phoronix Certification & Qualification Suite is intended to be an industry standard for validating hardware on the Linux operating system.
