Phoronix Test Suite 3.8 Enhances Reporting Capabilities

3.8-Bygland is the Q1'2012 update to the Phoronix Test Suite that offers a number of innovative features.

Chicago, IL -- 19 March 2012 -- Phoronix Media is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Phoronix Test Suite 3.8.0 (codenamed "Bygland") as the major Q1'2012 update to the Phoronix Test Suite. The Phoronix Test Suite 3.8 release brings forth a number of new and innovative features to reinforce its position as the flagship choice for carrying out automated, open-source benchmarks under Linux, BSD, Solaris, and Mac OS X platforms.

Key features of Phoronix Test Suite 3.8 include enhanced -- and more verbose -- reporting of compiler configuration and build-time options for built-from-source test profiles, a new SVG graph renderer, download caching enhancements, support for Apple's Mac OS X 10.8 operating system, and many other features and improvements to existing features.
